Marwa is a Palestinian writer and civil society activist based in Berlin. In daytime, she works at Transparency International Secretariat while in the evening she is researching digital activism and non-violent resistance in Palestine as part of her second MA thesis. She is also a policy member at Al-Shabaka, The Palestinian Policy Network.
Previously, Marwa worked as a Communications Manager at the British Consulate General in Jerusalem. She was a Fulbright scholar to the US, and holds an MA in International Relations from Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University.
