I am a researcher, journalist and media specialist from Lebanon. I am co-founder & co-editor of UntoldMag.org and Senior Media & Communications Specialist at the Centre for Lebanese Studies.
I hold a PhD in Media Studies from the University of Amsterdam and my work has been at the intersection of academia, media, and advocacy, with a focus on social and political movements, and the geographies of war and violence.
I am interested in the interconnection of struggles across the planet, especially when it comes to community organizing, political movements, and environmental action.
When not following the news, I am most likely cooking, preserving food, picking mushrooms or wild herbs, or exploring the underwater world.
